30 April 2022 - City Nature Challenge Stellenbosch - Assegaaiboskloof Baby Bride Bioblitz

This year 2022 is the first year that Stellenbosch is included in the global annual City Nature Challenge on iNaturalist. We are inviting all to join Friends of the Bride on a day-hike into Assegaaiboskloof to go and record as many species as we can, including the little Baby Blushing Brides, onto iNaturalist to really put the incredible biodiversity of Hottentots Hollands Mountain Complex ON THE MAP.

29 April to 1 May 2022 - City Nature Challenge Stellenbosch - Deep Dive into Assegaaiboskloof

This year 2022 is the first year that Stellenbosch is included in the global annual City Nature Challenge on iNaturalist. Friends of the Bride will be doing a Deep Dive 3-day overnight hike into Assegaaiboskloof to go and record as many species as we can, including the little Baby Blushing Brides, onto iNaturalist to really put the incredible biodiversity of Hottentots Hollands Mountain Complex ON THE MAP.

Numbers for this trip is limited, and invitation is strictly for those who will be contributing observations onto iNaturalist.
